By purchasing from First Choice Feeders, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Age Requirement
You must be 18 years or older to place an order on our website.Customer Responsibility at Delivery
It is your responsibility to be present when live insects or feeders are delivered. If you are unable to be home at the time of arrival, we recommend contacting your local post office to hold your mail until you can pick it up. We will not replace or compensate orders left at the post office due to the customer’s inability to pick them up.Shipping Address Accuracy
Please ensure the shipping address provided is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses.Delivery Dates
We do not guarantee specific delivery dates for any orders. We are also not responsible for any costs incurred by purchasing additional feeders if your order does not arrive on time.Lost or Damaged Packages
First Choice Feeders is not responsible for packages lost or damaged by USPS or UPS. We encourage you to track your order regularly and contact the carrier directly for issues regarding lost or damaged shipments.Insect and Cleaner Bug Liability
We are not liable for any damage or harm caused by the insects or cleaner bugs included in your order. Always open live insects over a separate container to prevent any potential accidents or escapes.Order Issues and Reporting
Any issues with an order must be reported to us within 2 hours of the delivery time, based on the carrier tracking data. Please include clear photos of the contents to assist with processing your claim.Replacements
Replacements will be offered on a case-by-case basis. Please note, we do not offer refunds for any order-related issues.Returns
We do not accept returns due to bio-security concerns and the nature of our products. It is the customer’s responsibility to properly discard any spoiled or unwanted feeders.
State Laws
It is the customer's responsibility to research and comply with all local and state laws regarding the purchase and possession of live insects and feeders.Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will take effect immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
Shipping
We offer reliable and efficient shipping for all our live and frozen feeders, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition to meet the needs of your animals. Here’s everything you need to know about our shipping process:
Frozen Feeder Shipping:
We offer a flat rate shipping fee of $39.00 for frozen feeders via UPS Ground. This rate applies to all frozen feeder orders, no matter the size.
Live Feeder Shipping:
We offer a flat rate shipping fee of $19.99 for crickets and $7.99 for all other insects via USPS Priority or UPS Ground. These rates apply to all live feeder orders, no matter the size.
Processing Times:
Orders typically take 1-2 business days to process.
We ship Monday-Wednesday, excluding holidays, so please plan your order accordingly.
Shipping Schedules Based on Transit Zones:
1 Day Transit Zones:
Orders to 1 day transit zones are shipped Monday-Wednesday.
Same week shipping: Orders must be placed by 10:00 AM CST on Tuesday.
2 Day Transit Zones:
Orders to 2 day transit zones are shipped Mondays and Tuesdays.
Same week shipping: Orders must be placed by 10:00 AM CST on Monday.
3 and 4 Day Transit Zones:
Orders to 3 and 4 day transit zones are shipped Monday only.
Next week shipping: Orders must be placed by 10:00 AM CST on Friday for shipping the following Monday.
Holiday notice: Orders to 3 and 4 day zones will not ship on any weeks containing a federal holiday or UPS closures. These orders will be held until the following Monday.
Important Notes:
Orders placed after the cutoff times will ship the following business day based on the respective transit zone schedule.
We strongly recommend placing your order early to ensure timely delivery, especially during holiday periods or weather delays.
